Kathleen I-Ying Lee

Kathleen began her career as a Research Assistant for Taiwan’s Ministry of Culture and later worked at Sanlih Television, one of the country’s leading TV networks. She holds a Master’s degree in New Media Management from Syracuse University and has led digital marketing campaigns for a range of companies. Her entertainment career spans film marketing and acquisitions, including her time as a coordinator at the prominent film sales agency VMI Worldwide. For over nine years, Kathleen has overseen Marketing & Operations for the Asian World Film Festival, while also supporting major film events such as Sundance Film Festival Asia, the LA Asian Pacific Film Festival, the ADG Awards, and the DGA Awards. Passionate about championing diverse voices, she is committed to promoting films and filmmakers from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. In addition to her marketing work, Kathleen is also an active film producer.
